I did not realize how much I needed this book until I started reading it. It’s not long so if you need some encouragement, advice, and inspiration as we move closer and closer toward authoritarianism,this book is for you. They draw thoughtful insight from history and theology. Highly recommend.

A friend invited me to my first hip-hop concert tonight. It was Wu-Tang Clan and they were so amazing! The energy on stage and in the crowd just blew my mind! Also, it was nice to get out of the house 🙂.

If you’re going to any of the No Kings protests today, please stay safe and nonviolent. I can’t be there with you because I’m a caregiver for my parents, but I sincerely hope you’re able to have your voices heard.

There are so many good podcasts in my queue but do the episodes really have to be so long? I have no idea how to keep up! Anyone have advice? I don’t get to go on long drives or long walks very often so that’s out.

I do tend to share a lot about myself. But I’m wondering if now’s even a good time to do that anymore because of all that’s going on in our country and the world? I mean, there are so many hurting people and much of the pain is being caused by our own president / government….

Btw, if you can see the grotesque injustice that is the National Guard violently occupying LA for even 1 day against the will of Los Angelenos, then you can certainly see the grotesque injustice that is the Israeli military violently occupying Palestine for 75 years against the will of Palestinians.
