Three shots of the sun just sitting atop a tree limb. 1 shows the sun as orange, the next as yellowish with a distinct orange limb, the last as white. These photos aren't retouched or altered at all. Unintentional hand quivers shifted the lens just enough to record the light differently. There is a band of clouds slightly obscuring the bottom edge. The cloud is exactly the same color as the sky behind the tree & sun, so it's not distinguishable.

Hey! Look what I have in my stash, awaiting inspiration!

Sunrise looking East. The bottom of the frame is a dark cloud bank. Only its very top is illuminated. Above that, there are swipes and swirls of different densities and layers of clouds against blue sky. That sort of funnel shape on the left is neither a tornado nor a column of smoke.

Air quality has me laying low. (300 m below Canada, a plume smoked out our house on Friday. (I thought our basement was on fire.) I extend all my sympathy to anyone dealing with that mess close up.

I had to catch this view today though.
