My kitty cat is having a UI flare up so I’ve been going to the vet about twice a week for the few weeks.

Stumbling through the rest of my longer-than-normal life with this.” And then, because he’s drunk and he’s not really sure how much of any of this he’s getting across, clarifies, maybe needlessly: “Loss, I mean.” Viago looks so out of his depth, Anton can’t help but push. “You’re a vampire. How do you deal with outliving everyone?” After a moment of quiet reflection, Viago offers: “It is not so bad,” His cold hand pats gently against Anton’s thigh. “Most days I don’t even think about it.” “And the days you do?” Anton pushes. Keeps pushing. Something. Anything. Viago’s eyes unfocus very briefly, and then lock on Anton with so much intensity he’s half worried the guy can see straight to the fragile, beating heart of him. “Ruinous.”

Oof, tough choice, coffee anxiety is some of the worst around. Maybe take some aspirin (or a less caffeinated tea?)

On top of being scary, it’s also just awful from a functioning at life point. Yesterday i ate some cookies, my partner got home from work, went to eat one, stopped mid bite and was like “these have gone bad” … i ate half a sleeve of them

The first time i was so concerned that when i tested negative w the at home test i went to my dr to have her do a proper test. Which is saying something bc my main goal in life is to avoid a doctor’s office at all costs (barring annuals and immunizations, but to be clear, I’m never happy about it)

Also sorry, i just need to complain. I had covid in ‘22, I lost my senses of taste/smell when that happened. I have been sick 3 times since & have LOST MY SMELL/TASTE 2 OF THOSE TIMES. Obvi i was concerned i had covid so i tested both times & nope. Apparently this is just how I get sick now.

Truly a hell week.

I can breathe again! Unfortunately i sound like i’ve been smoking for 100 years and my throat is still on fire

Right? Constant struggle to be like “i cant tell if youve got a tummy ache or are dying and I’m about to pay $500 to *maybe* figure it out” 🥲

I’m gonna try to put some more stuff up on my ko-fi soon to try and offset my credit card balance, but in the meantime if you could tell my cats to stop being sick, that would be a big help 🥲
