To me this is a good incentive to actually pursue an ADHD assmt… I’ve been weighing pros & cons but haven’t decided (I have an ASD Dx & suspect ADHD too, but wasn’t sure if it would be worth it to pursue the Dx for ADHD because I’m already retired so wasn’t sure how much it would benefit)…

Someone getting the nature of the federal budget wrong… the fed govt issues the currency (US Dollar) & doesn’t rely on fed taxes to fund *anything*… the fed govt cannot go broke & doesn’t need to “balance the budget” like a household needs to… this is important because people need to understand that the fed govt *can* afford & pay for things like Medicare for all, free education, housing, federal job guarantee, green new deal, & other programs to actually help people instead of further enriching the super wealthy…
Thanks for all this info… I think this one is a big reason people need to learn #MMT … everyone still believes the fed budget is like a household budget, when it’s absolutely not; fed govt is the currency issuer, not a currency user… (see Alt text in attached pic for more)
