I am not uk maker, but… spacer mesh! Go for heavier ones, those tend to be better quality and nicer to touch!

Another popular material is neoprene or lycra.

Haku plays with tpu settings to find sweet spot between usable tpu base and spongy mess. :D

The left one is what we end up using. It is much more stable and does not distort that easily.
