I do tend to lean towards the idea that people who do not live in high crime areas or who are not directly affected by crime without being willing participants tend to be more anti-surveillance with respect to home security systems but this is anecdotal and not backed by any real data

The conversation about the pros and cons of the surveillance state we live in is always worth having.
