I pointed out no, dorsal fin & it was already too big to be a shark. Maybe 20ft. Then mama showed up, almost 100ft. Called jr home & they disappeared.

I once got a chance in the Coast Guard to swim with wild dolphins in the middle of nowhere in the Caribbean for a couple of hours. It was so magical it was surreal
