The fate of the Knights Templar was sealed on Friday 13th October 1307 once King Philip IV France ordered their mass arrest in France. Join us for our only public tour during October to find out more about these warrior monks and their possible connection to the cave.

Our love of pattern can be seen throughout history, from interlocking Celtic designs to ornate Victorian florals. Drop-in for some relaxed pattern creating, from simple methods to more complex, try your hand at making your own designs.

Discover the art and archaeology of the @roystoncave.bsky.social in a brilliant little exhibition created by students from King James Academy, Royston, as part of their work experience at the Museum.

The exhibition is open Thursday - Sunday, 10am to 4pm, and admission is free.

Sometimes attributed to St George, it has also been suggested that instead this carving could be St Michael. Could this be where the Michael ley line enters the cave ? To find out more and to celebrate the feast day of this saint join us for public tours on Monday 29th September at 1pm and 1:45pm.

The Jowler trail starts this weekend in Royston. Bring the children and help them learn about the history of the town, and if you are feeling lavish you can enhance the experience with a baked treat at every checkpoint !

Two tickets have just become available for our previously sold out dowsing special on Wednesday evening. We had a practise on Monday night, and as well as being so cool down the there, it was great fun, so grab the opportunity to join us !
