The level and type of creative collaboration offered by comics remains undefeated and is why I would never be able to fully give up this medium if I wanted to.

I wrote five full pages of notes and story ideas in two hours, I have very clearly missed this a lot.

Getting to plan out a whole new arc feels SO DANG GOOD

I finally get to start work on a new comic script this week, I'm so hyped.

Half expected "Live & Learn" to start playing during the Pokemon Legends ZA climax.

Rewrote a sci-fi one-sheet and several anthology pitches today, feeling good about them across the board.

This really is a great jumping on point with the first trade.

That said, we're barely into the series and I did an overprint on the individual issues, so you could probably have your shop get you all four issues! They include backup stories and a letters column that don't appear in the trade.

I'm really excited about the comics I've gotten to edit so far in my freelancing this year and am really eager to work on more projects earlier in their lifespan in 2026.
