The DOJ/FBI is supposed to be independent of the White House. We all know that's never been even nominally true under Trump, but for him to be giving a pep talk to FBI agents over Gabbard's cellphone is BRAZEN and outrageous.

Gabbard, as head of the US intelligence community, isn't even supposed to be doing domestic law enforcement. But she's on the ground coordinating between the president and the FBI agents on the ground.

It looked to me like even Bongino was alarmed by it.
