I will believe that changes when I see them in action.

So disappointed in our city Council. They passed the bylaws last night with minor amendments and now are working hard with EPS whose bloated budget and batons are wreaking havoc across the city. I guess we know who council cares about.

The new Edmonton public spaces bylaws are terrible, and I spoke today briefly at council about how I see them as an indicator of a moral panic directed at people who are unhoused. At the same time that I have been raging at these decisions, I have been buoyed by others in opposition.
