In the UK, we observe the democratic decline of the US with increasing horror. It is now a mainstream topic of pub conversation (after football obvs). American culture is deeply embedded in the UK, which is why we struggle to comprehend how quickly the checks and balances have crumbled. Take care.

I know it's not much consolation, but 9 years ago the UK electorate (aided by Russian money and gullible traitors), in its wisdom, decided to vote for economic sanctions against itself. Today over 60% agree it was a stupid idea. It's the residual 30% I worry about. Hopefully, some MAGA will recant.
