It's easy but playing it well is DIFFICULT. There's a reason there's so many stories of the devil playing fiddle to trick people

coming from "concert/classical" (or as much so as one can be in middleschool and highschool) is such a different thing than Fiddling. There's so much to figure out. It's a lot of fun!

real fiddlers are so fucking impressive. I don't know where they pull this sound from. I played violin for over 8 years in school and sporadically ever since. my fingertips are just barely touching the threshold of understanding
