What weโve launched today is the first step for how weโre going to evolve verification.
The initial set of trusted verifiers includes news orgs whoโve agreed to take on the task of verification for their journalists. In the future, this set will expand, as well as how apps can choose to use them.
Yes but I don't know if I can complete it in an even remotely reasonable amount of time haha. Excited to see this year's publications regardless!

a fluffy gray cat reels backward against the wall; one paw is uplifted in a startled gesture, and her green eyes are fixed on the viewer in an expression of genteel shock. to her right, a fuzzy black cat stands in profile. he has raised one front paw, which rests upon the gray cat's flank; it appears that he is knighting her, almost. whatever the case: she's not into it!
good (?) morning
15.07.2023 12:29 โ ๐ 162 ๐ 16 ๐ฌ 6 ๐ 1The big mistake that the CEOs of both Reddit & Twitter have made is failing to realize that their sites are supported by lots of unpaid labor (creators, moderators, etc) and itโs not enough to focus on experience of users whoโre mainly readers of these sites.
The 1-9-90 ratio is real.
wait wait i know this band
07.06.2023 17:25 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0An advertising based business model is incompatible with an API strategy that enables 3rd party clients. Most social apps figured this out a decade ago which is why Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc donโt have such APIs.
Itโs a legacy from pre-2010 tech culture.

The flip side is these volunteers also control the most popular destinations in the app
A healthy form of checks & balances in my opinion.
They're literally always doing this
