I absolutely love this view. I wish I could wake up to it every morning. It's about to get cold though and "nothing gold can stay".

Just to be clear: not saying there is anything wrong with Boston or New York. It was just the photo I took that got me thinking.

We make decisions everyday. Sometimes there is no correct choice. And even though they are made with the best of intentions, that doesn't mean the result is a good one. Bad outcomes are a part of life. It doesn't make you wrong.

I had the best walk on the beach. It was a chance to let go of some baggage and open myself to new experiences while watching the sun set on a phase of my life. I hope everyone can experience even a small quantum of peace this week.

Just saying goodbye to a wonderful place. I'm reminded of when the Fellowship of the Ring departs Lothlorien. I hope, unlike Aragorn, that I will return.

I went for a walk and I was so caught up looking at the beautiful leaves above that I almost missed this. It's great to look up but it's also important to see what you are about to step on. Beauty is everywhere and in everything. We just have to see it.

I feel like it's OK to keep a jack-o-lantern past Halloween. I'm not ready to say goodbye yet... in so many ways. Here's to the best Halloween I've ever had. Thank you!

I won't forget the bad places that I've been. I don't know what tomorrow will bring. But I am here, right now, in this moment and I will enjoy it while I have it.

I never expected to like other seasons when I was younger. My ideal then was to live an endless summer. This week I'm appreciative of the beauty around me and the experiences that I've been given. I don't deserve friends this good.

I picked apples for the first time ever today. It sounds simple and it totally is but I realized it's something I've never done before. Every day can hide its own adventure.

Taking my tour of ATL today. 3 more hours until my connection. I don't count steps but I bet I'd have a lot from my hike following the tram. Took a break for protein matcha. Time to get back to my underground circuit.

I went for a walk and found this little guy. Next time you are out and about or feel overwhelmed, take a minute to find something small and interesting and it will give you a new perspective. 😃

I took a nap on a boat under a palm tree today. The sound of the wind blowing through the palm fronds was so peaceful. I hope you all found some relaxing time today. My heart goes out to those of you that weren't able to. Stay strong.

Breaking my "no food before diving" rule this morning because I have been wanting breakfast all week. Also one meal a day late at night is not enough after swimming in current sun up to sun down. And come on... it's a muffin and yams and water... surely I can keep it down.

I didn't post this yesterday because I was in the moment. I think that sometimes the universe tries to communicate with us. I think it was telling me,

I was so tired when I got in last night that I fell asleep in the tub. I woke up several times after attempting to breathe water. The 4th time I woke up shivering. Then my friend, who knows none of this, texts me this picture today.
Sleep. Sometimes you gotta take it where you find it.

Spent today at one of the largest car shows in the USA. It started Sunday and goes all week but 1 day was what I had time for this year. I loved the cars but good times with old friends is what really matters.

... or a lesbian... Today is international lesbian day afterall.
