Anyone: Why are there suddenly so many AHDH diagnoses? Dr. Jen: Same reason there are suddenly more stars after we built telescopes.
The mystery of medical diagnosis!

Exactly. His approach to atheism is pretty much an equivalent to christian evangelicalism - arguing that there's no need for any other set of belief.
By this point, no one listens to that. Guess that is why he wants to make attacks on another group now.
Man who made his living say I should be prevented from believing in what I believe in, now opposing my right to literally live as the human I am. Absolutely horrible individual.

Also this is implied in the thread but to reiterate, negativity bias is only applied to autism and transness because people assume theyβre βbadβ - if theyβre neutral, then thereβs no βneedβ to identify causes. Autism/transness are being constructed as βproblemsβ in order to then βsolveβ them

So we are very glad to hear that the Liberal Democrats acknowledged her with their Patsy Calton Award. We are disgusted by the Express article attacking Chris and the Liberal Democrats. The news media are once again choosing to attack a woman for winning an award, due to her being trans. Painting a target on her back to further their culture war on our community. We are happy to see that the Liberal Democrats are standing by Chris and their decision to give her this award. We want to see all political parties refuse to bow down to the hate campaigns attacking individual trans people and our community. We stand in solidarity with Chris Northwood and urge everyone to do the same. Your LGBTIQA+ Greens committee Promoted by LGBTIQA+ Greens (Green Party), c/o PO Box 78066, London SE16 9GQ

A brief statement in solidarity with Liberal Democrat councillor Chris Northwood @chrisn.xyz
Chris Northwood holds a glass award that says The Patsy Calton Award 2025 Liberal Democrats on it in front of a progress pride flag.
I see people are upset that I won an award for women because I'm the wrong type of woman. I was moved and honoured to have been awarded this by the party's women's group, and that the Lib Dems at all levels have my back and I will continue to fight for liberalism and my community.

That's Ed Davey saying that he thinks the future of the Lib Dems lies with appealing to 2024 Tory voters. If you disagree, if you think the Lib Dems need to be more than Tory-lite, then join us and fight for something better: radicalassociation.org

Interesting that every time we discuss women's rights at Lib Dem Conference the group that claims to care so deeply about "the rights of women and girls" is completely and utterly absent.
