Yes yes yes we have done it again. Our football teams have now won 4 in a row. Our Yr 9s won 4-3 against BBEC. Well done also to our Yr8 star goalie Jacob who was brilliant and claimed player of the day.

Please note that due to some club changes there is no football training tomorrow or rugby training on Thursday. Clubs will resume next week. Yr 9 football is still on tomorrow for the fixture.

Our Yr 10 rugby team has been selected to represent Bradford in the Yorkshire cup. Some big fixtures coming up both home and away.

Work Immersion Days at YBS give students in the Bradford district a fun-filled, educational day at their Bradford office with engaging workshops, tour of the office & a careers panel among other things to help students better understand the world of work & improve their potential employment skills.

Our Y11 info evening was very well attended with support from local Post-16 providers & workshops such as How to Revise, Using GCSE Pod, Managing Stress, How to Use Your School Report and Post-16 Options. We are so proud of our Jayden competing for the Bradford city disability football team. He scored a hatrick and they won a tournament near Hull. Amazing.

We will once again be hosting 'pop up' shops on site for our uniform suppliers, Rawcliffes and The Uniform Shop, on Wednesday 9 July 2025 between 8.30am and 3.30pm.
If you would like to get a start on your uniform shopping for September, the pop up shops will be located outside school reception.

Our Transition Day was a great success, and it was wonderful to meet the students who will be joining us in September! 🌟
