Our new STEM club at St Malachy’s Catholic Primary School kicked off with Sphero indi! The pupils first experimented with the coloured tiles to learn what command each colour represents. Then, they used Makedo and Nurcs construction tools to create fun elements. #STEM #Edusky

We wrapped up our weekly #STEM classes by reflecting on our favourite projects. The pupils assigned photos and audio reflections to each conductive touchpad. I look forward to seeing these pupils again in February for more STEM! #Edusky

STEM club pupils at Salterhebble Junior and Infant School enjoyed making these working magic 8 balls! They constructed the balls using Strawbees and then coded the micro:bits to randomly display different responses when shaken. @microbit.org #STEM #Edusky

When Copley Primary pupils made Sierpiński pyramids with @strawbees.bsky.social, someone asked a great question: is it possible to make fractal pyramids using different triangles? They explored isosceles and scalene triangles and continued to apply their understanding of fractals. #STEM #Edusky

When I realised how many Launchpad STEM Camp students shared a love of music, we introduced them to the famous Makey Makey piano and challenged them to go further! They created new instruments and used Scratch to code real sounds for each key. #STEM #Edusky
