Last month was statistically tied for the lowest April snow cover on record across the Northern Hemisphere. Springtime snow decline has consistently been an indicator of a warming cryosphere and results in changes to surface albedo properties.

In our travels in China, there has been little on the US 51st state threat to Canada.

We have been in China during the trade escalation and it is interesting to see how the US is portrayed in the news.

With current border policies, it is unethical to continue holding so many important science conferences in the US. In addition to moving conferences to safer international locations, US organizers must reorganize meetings around remote participation.

This is creation of a fear state.
