The officials in this Notre Dame/USC game have shown what a farce they are. Two balls that clearly hit the ground called interceptions and no holding calls by ND when the offensive linemen were tackling the D line on multiple plays.

I don’t what’s happened to the Buffalo Sabres but they are one of the worst teams in hockey. Two weeks ago they were third in the conference. Since, they can’t win a game or hold a multi goal lead.

Thoughts on Hunter pardon:

- I don’t love it, but I completely understand why he did it

- with everything the incoming administration is telling us they’re going to do, we probably need to stop handcuffing ourselves with standards they won’t follow

- I wish it wasn’t this way

No one knows the future - both what Trump will actually do, and what the effects will be - but it truly was the case that that Trump’s *explicit campaign promises* were to basically destroy the recovery.

My system with sports is: college football + NFL ALL DAY EVERYDAY through the fall until February. Then NCAA college basketball until March madness. Once that’s over I transition to the NBA.
