Callouses develop and you need callouses to play guitar. If you have some sort of finger protector you’ll never develop callouses. Fingertips bleeding will not cause problems.

I used to work in restaurants and I would see 1 star Yelp reviews say “terrible service! They won’t even let you get f***ed up watching the game.” That definitely served as a 5 star review.

Yeah we’re in a completely different world now. A lot of people have yet to realize that.
