I know Zamperla Discovery swings can be a lil squirrely to operate, some parks even got rid of theirs recently (cough KK cough), but I really need more parks to build these things because they're LUDICROUSLY fun! #AmusementParks #Kennywood

That's a shame, it looks like a decent family coaster in isolation.

Does riding a lazy river and family raft water slide with actor Jeff Goldblum count?

Done Tigris, Ice Breaker, and now Sky Rocket so far. Tight trains to get in and out of, and the third rows on each car are pretty tight on my shins when locked. Mostly just nitpicks tho, they're all still super fun coasters I go out of my way to try.

A custom-written After Effects plugin applied to video footage. A speed boost at the lift hills. Applied as comet effect, and as long-lasting.

Downsides I had about Steel Curtain was the very loud lift hill, which was pretty audible through many parts of Kennywood.

The ride also had a really strong vibration through it, though it didn't really detract from the experience, just made my voice sound funny during the ride.

Pretty comfy ride too with its swoopy large elements. The high rolls are pretty epic! Happy to have gotten my first banana roll!

If I may elaborate on Kennywood's Steel Curtain again for a sec:

Incredibly tall coaster! Extremely hard to miss from anywhere in the surrounding area with its height and colors. Could be an eyesore to some, but hard to ignore for all.

In irony of ironys, I had no idea Kennywood was getting sold to Herschend. I guess my Kentucky Kingdom pass might have extra buying power if I'm ever back in the area.

Exciting to hear! I have mixed feelings on the trains, but it looks like a mean coaster

The only black mark I can think of is the queue setup is egregious; it (currently) has no shade canopy, likely as a result of rushing to open the ride, due to it being late.

This must be resolved soon; we saw someone pass out. We had brought a small umbrella, which is a must.

AlpenFury was my 538th coaster, and absolutely blew away my expectations, which were very, very high.

Wonderland may not have any idea what they have done, but they and Premier have created one of the best roller coasters in the entire world.

10/10.

It is almost criminal how good Stardust Racers (in Celestial Park) is. I rode yellow first and at first the dueling was cool, then after 2nd launch when the green train just rotated over us I was FLOORED. I haven’t been excited like that by a coaster in years! It has tons of air, laterals, & speed.

Himalaya ride at Kentucky Kingdom amusement park.

Himalaya is now an outdoor ride.

Scout's Squirrel Race small flat ride in the newly themed Discovery Meadow area of Kentucky Kingdom amusement park.

Mile High Falls spill ride along with Nature's Bounty pirate ship ride, formerly named Bluebeard's Bounty, in the newly rethemed Discovery Meadow area of Kentucky Kingdom amusement park.

Honeybee Buzzers flying scooters style ride, formerly named Prof. John's Flying Machines, and Wind Chaser RMC roller coaster, formerly named Storm Chaser, within the newly themed Discovery Meadow area of Kentucky Kingdom amusement park.

Kentucky Kingdom's Discovery Meadow is such a nice breath of fresh air to the backside of the park. They moved some rides from the front to back here, and honestly, it works super well where they put them. It feels so much more lively, and (Storm) Wind Chaser feels less alone.
