Limit behavior would be the flat line at whatever the open/surviving proprietary line would move to, so arguably this is just that case again, too.

I imagine it like "SOTA makes v. serious strides over open models for 2+ years, but world events cause funding/budget/compute crunches that force shutdowns & inference curtailment".
Has anyone else noticed "flash-out" behavior of posts on X?
For some posts that are either platform negative or long-form outside of articles, when on desktop, if you load your profile page, you briefly see the posts, then they instantly flash out of view and are removed from the feed.
Maybe I'm too internet burned out, but even after aggressive "not interested" whack-a-mole, un-networked feeds all seem to end up resembling each other
Usually in a spiritual-if-not-literal "subway surfers rubber band ball-cutting listicle trailer slop "DAE remember ocarina of TIME??" kinda way.
I mostly just expected it was gonna be "Certified Bangers (tm)"-style low-tier engagement bait
I didn't expect them to be as bad as they were and also blatantly violate their own "no politics" rule for the articles in the grand prize and I think 4/6 of the alternative winners
The back-breaking straw for me was the article contest winners.
They were the perfect blend of Elonic "btw I run spacex" culture war and government contractor special interest slop, and Nikitaeic "le influencer lifehack" slop.
Vast and trunkless legs of stone indeed...
