Tell Me a Bedtime Story Hey, homies. Julián here. The magic dust on my eyelids is weighing me tons. I'm weary. Awfully sleepy. So sleepy, I can't even pick up a book, but I need a bedtime story. Can you tell me the best bedtime story a vivid dreamer like me should hear? Are you gonna make me have the sweetest dreams, crimson and clover over and over, or are you gonna keep me up all night, in fear of nightmares? Your call. I've had a couple things on the brain lately: storytelling, for one. I'm reading The Summer Book by Tove Jansson which is slow and sweet and light. Before that, I read Last Days by Brian Evenson, a high-octane action horror thriller that went crazy places and crazier places from there. I'm interested in both these poles as well as the in-between. Light and airy, heavy and haunting. You could go folklore vibes. You could go campfire vibes. You could go pastoral. Conversational. *yaaaaaawwwwwwnnnnnn* Tell me stories! Poems, I'm not so lit up by right now, but tell me a poem if you think it fits! No word limit, though please be reasonable.
