zohran canvassers handed literature to 1.5 million doors. the campaign literature literally said that zohran was a democratic socialist + endorsed by DSA. what this means is that voters who don’t identify as socialists weren’t tricked into voting for a socialist. they just weren’t put off by one.

it has never been clearer that undocumentedness is the outcome of processes of ILLEGALIZATION. it's not something a person does, it's something the state does to a person. Lots of good lessons from yesterday's election but I think one of the top best lessons is ranked choice voting enables systematic change. We need it everywhere. Ranked choice at the local, state, and federal levels. Ranked choice in post offices and cafeterias. Ranked choice on supermarket shelves
