I would suggest that if Jenrick feels uncomfortable at the lack of white faces in an area, then the problem is probably him!

“You described Reform and other parties across Europe today as among the 'right wing equivalents of the fascists in the 1930s'. Why?”

“Because that’s what they are”

If you can't see how this will end, then you're not paying attention (not least to what's going on on the other side of the Atlantic).

That’s some level of dissonance, not only bewilderingly assuming that if you’re liberal, you are somehow in favour criminality, but also he denounces said crimes, while simultaneously appearing to threaten a criminal act.

Don't forget that 41 Tory MPs in the last government took Russian donations. That might account for media reticence to report on the Nathan Gill case.

Leaving ECHR breaches Good Friday Agreement, says Grieve Leaving the Convention "plainly in breach of the Good Friday agreement" says former Attorney General.

Dominic Grieve sets out the huge cost of leaving the ECHR - for Northern Ireland, for trade with the EU and for the UK's reputation.

So, to be clear, Kemi wants to emulate Argentina’s economic model, which has led to a rise in poverty, & necessitated a bailout from Trump, as well as Trump’s approach to migration & asylum which is wholly unpopular even amongst most Americans.

Slow hand clap that woman!

Since 1980, the ECHR has heard just 29 UK immigrant deportation case, and the UK won 16 of them. Quitting will make no material difference to immigration, just weaken protections for absolutely everybody in this country. But Farage and the Tories know that.

Also; last I heard, & I stand to be corrected, but wasn’t the Scottish economy growing more quickly than much of the rest of the UK?

The people (Tories and Reform) who tell you your rights are safe if we leave the ECHR as they’ll replace them with British laws also told you our trade, borders and NHS was safe if we left the EU because they’d negotiate amazing trade deals, take control of our borders and fix the NHS…..

WTF even is ‘masculine Christianity’?

Meanwhile he’s travelling to Israel to be heralded by the Israeli government, which is representative of a people who Christians chided for centuries, as they blamed the Jews for killing their figurehead. Someone help me make it make sense(?)!!!

Would that involve removing people like her, who was born here while her mother received medical treatment, subsequently returning to their home country a short while later, and only coming back once more to study when the situation in Nigeria started to deteriorate… people just like that?

We flounced out of the EU on the say-so of politicians who lied to us. And what a total shitshow that’s turned out to be. The polar opposite of what they promised. Now the call to flounce out of the ECHR. By the same people. Telling the same lies. Has the country been kicked in the head by a horse?

I have tried to remain moderate over the last two years, see the situation in Gaza, The West Bank & Israel from both sides, mindful that the history is nuanced & complex, but even I found myself shouting at the telly this morning, & haven’t yet managed to calm down!!!
