i’ve been having some relapse of Anxiety and it seems i’ve developed… idk, pavolvian anxiety? the moment i crawl into bed and draw up my blanket my brain takes it as the cue to hit the play button like “let’s pick up where we left off last night” and it’s the same damn fear 💀

i was feeling pleased that i was invested in the supporting cast and relationships in this series but apparently not invested enough to read 40 more chapters when the main story already has a very happy ending 😂

i was like “why does this manhwa 140 chapters, how much more plot are they going to add” and turns out it’s 40+ chapters of extras…

was omw back from bank errands but due to some angry driver making a ruckus, the traffic enforcer wouldn’t make me make a left/u-turn where i usually do and rerouted me so i’d have to go inside a shopping center… i thought it was no biggie bc i simply had to get out but nah i got stuck inside 💀

thinking about how everyone around me is at a point where happiness & stability are ahead of them… i always remind myself that being healthy is a win, but this doesn’t quite work when your anxiety/depression brain doesn’t see the point of being healthy when there’s no reason to live long 💀

managed to lock in at work today thanks to a podcast ONLY FOR THE EPISODE TO END with the announcement that the entire podcast has ended. it’s a pretty established and long-running podcast too so idk what to do. how will i get work done now 😭😭😭

- i didn’t hate it, but i also felt nothing the entire time lol

- movie!KDJ is just a rly obnoxious power fantasy MC and his “most traumatic memory” is so ??

- the entire production looked cheap (even the expensive cast looked cheap), but the dokkaebi were so cute i wasn’t ready😂

i had to close my eyes the first time but now i can accept them 😂

finished! the tearjerker aspects worked, but it falls apart when you consider how lay’s character would literally rather do crime than accept money from his ex-wife… who the movie portrays in a sympathetic light but obviously does not care about outside of being a foil for the father-daughter rs

like on a basic comprehension and common sense level ahaha

it’s fun seeing everyone be so charmed by the child actor though! imo she’s outclassing her grown-up counterpart 😂

watching mumu (2025) with danmu and realizing that this is not the type of movie you should watch with danmu bc then you will see how dumb people are 😭😭😭

i thought i'd only seen a grand total of 2 movies this year and was feeling bad about that before realizing that i just haven't been logging movies on l*tterboxd 😂

i like m*nny j*cinto but why are we claiming that he doesn't have an accent when he speaks TGL (he does, a bit) and that he's fluent (unlikely, though he does sound like he speaks or is exposed to it) and he speaks better than locals (...). hearing him speak the language is cute, regardless!

it's also kind of hitting me that my mom probably never wanted a daughter 🤣

every now & then it hits me how capitalistic feminine gender expression is? like i'll see women talking about products their mom gave them, maintenance tips their mom taught them, treatments their mom brought them to and then i'll feel poor 😂 my mom is a pro @ buying me clothes from flea markets tho

i also like how bad the MC is at gifting clothes? the gloves are too small for the ML, the shirt doesn’t quite match his style. it’s so unlike her previous relationship where they’d known each other for so long they forgot what it was like to have a learning curve

still having feelings about the arc in Tears on a Withered Flower where, at the end of a long-term relationship, the MC starts buying new things for herself and her new situationship and approaches her crippling debt with a healthier state of mind like yes girl go live your life

Tears on a Withered Flower has been surprisingly very much up my alley in spite of 1) the threat of high-stakes drama looming in the background, 2) the very weird and extremely offputting body proportions at the beginning 😂
