“Two years ago, we watched in horror those appalling scenes of Hamas’s evil terrorist attack on Israel. 1,200 innocent people brutally slain, including hundreds of young people at a music festival. Others raped, sexually assaulted and mutilated. 251 people taken hostage, ripped away from their families.
“Those terror attacks also triggered a shocking rise in antisemitism here in the UK – a terrible scourge that took the lives of Adrian Daulby and Melvin Cravitz at their synagogue last week.
“We stand in solidarity with British Jews, the people of Israel and Jewish communities around the world against terrorism and against antisemitism in all its forms.
“This cycle of violence has gone on for far too long, caused far too much suffering and claimed far too many innocent lives.
“With new peace talks under way, we desperately hope that they will finally see the hostages returned home to their families, a lasting bilateral ceasefire, Hamas out of power in Gaza for good." Ed Davey

We haven’t forgotten your silence on your Welsh Leader Nathan Gill admitting 8 bribery charges.

We haven’t forgotten the racist and inept councillors you’ve lost.

We haven’t forgotten your Britannia Card to help the rich.

We haven’t forgotten DOGE being a con.

Who wants to see a video of Nigel Farage calling Nathan Gill a “decent, honourable man”?

Reform UK are pushing immigration hard as an issue in the Caerphilly by-election.

Just for context, Caerphilly has the THE LOWEST, immigration rate of all Wales' 22 councils.

97.1% of people there were born in the UK.

Only Cardiff and Newport have move that 10% born overseas.

Blaenau Gwent - an area of Wales which is a long way from recovering from de-industrialisation, more at risk of going to Reform than Brecon and Radnor or the Cardiff seats - this projection is dubious.

If this was any other party it would be parroted so much that it would haunt them and come to define them. Now then what will the approach of our broadcast media be to this? Will we be talking about it this time next week? www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

Keir Starmer says everyone in the UK will be required to have mandatory digital ID. That’s not the kind of country we want to be.

Liberal Democrats have always stood up to defend civil liberties against government overreach.

We will fight tooth and nail to oppose these plans too.

We are overtaking the Conservatives and on the cusp of overtaking Labour too.

More and more people are backing the Liberal Democrats to stand up to Reform and stop Trump’s America becoming Farage’s Britain.

I know it's a conference bounce, but good to see the LibDems overtaking the Tories and not far behind Labour. Now just need to bring down that 33% to something close to zero.

Wales is a country with such a strong and unique culture and history. To see it being lost is a tragedy. Perhaps more focus on supporting the broader Welsh culture and less on arbitrary targets for the Welsh language would have better results

Letter from Ed Davey to Keir Starmer condemning Elon Musk for inciting violence and urging unity to defend democracy.

I've written to Keir Starmer, Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage, urging them to join me in condemning Elon Musk's dangerous remarks inciting violence yesterday.

As leaders, we must stand together and make clear Musk will face serious consequences for these actions.

Coverage of Nigel Farage too often dominates the BBC.

Ed Davey shouldn’t need to Bunjee Jump in order to get the LibDem message about Trump, worries about threats to ECHR & social care on the agenda. He leads the 3 biggest party!
