It’s the Concert Hall at Yonge and Bloor, the old Masonic Temple!! Brought back to life !! Seems loads of the metal shows are moving there. Going to see Emperor with Blood Incantation there in March.

Holy shit what a show at the concert hall last night in TO… 4 extreme metal bands (Cattle Decapitation, Aborted, Frozen Soul, Tribal Gaze), infinite mosh pits and crowd surfing, everyone respectful of each other and no one gets hurt. Metal camaraderie is fucking undefeated. 🤟😍

This is all very complicated, but Jazz is the most American thing there ever was. A pure blend of influences from numerous parts of the world that occurred IN the US (which arose from oppression, disenfranchisement, poverty) over the course of decades. In a way, Jazz as an art form IS America.
