The threat to our society is not from asylum seekers in small boats. Itโs from politicians and media cynically whipping up fear and prejudice, labelling them all as criminals, inciting hatred against people for where and what theyโve fled from.
It must stop. For all our sakes. Itโs deeply sinister.

06.08.2025 08:15 โ ๐ 26 ๐ 16 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Post on Quora Do you have any sympathy for the Trump supporters who claim his actions are "not what I voted for"? My niece, who lives in Florida, does not watch the news, does not go to rallies, and has no interest in what goes on beyond her community. She votes Republican because it is what her parents vote. She will occasionally indulge in the cosplay, posing for photos holding guns & waving the flag, but she has absolutely no idea what Trump was running on. Nor did she care to inform herself. She, and many Americans, are complacent, and until the GOPโs policies affect them directly, will continue to live in their little bubbles. She doesnโt really know what she voted for. She is a teacher. Let that sink in. A TEACHER. Any how, to answer your question, I have no sympathy for those who knowingly voted for the Fuhrer in Chief, or those who were too complacent. I do feel great pity for the children, grandchildren, and future generations who will have to carry the shame and the burden that will be the legacy of the Trump Administration.
This is the clear and present danger in our elections with Fartrage's Deform UK Ltd.

I think people are appallingly ignorant about immigration because they are appallingly racist. And theyโve been given the go-ahead by cynical politicians and media to freely express their prejudice, rather than demand better of themselves.

The filter can be activated through a dropdown in the Images tab, search settings, or by using a dedicated AI-free domain: noai.duckduckgo.com. The system relies on curated blocklists, including uBlockOriginโs Huge AI Blocklist, to detect and suppress AI-generated imagery. While not perfect, it significantly reduces synthetic content visibility. This move sets DuckDuckGo apart from competitors like Google and Bing by giving users direct control over their exposure to AI-generated material. Source: TechCrunch

The replies to this post, even on here, even moreso on X, are so depressing to me. We live in a world where cities have never been safer and a minority of people are denying themselves a lot of delightful experiences because theyโve gone mad online.
