I have lost all of my old articles as well...the SCG stuff...the Pure stuff....hell, even the Mediary stuff is gone (their server crashed about 6 months in, and they lost everything and never rebuilt and just went away). I enjoyed writing, even if I was generally a "never was" in MTG.

There is definitely some good that can come from it. Unfortunately, lots of teams drafting a QB high either 1) Don't have a schedule that lines up like that, where the toughest part is early, or 2) Don't have an actual professional level QB that can take the hits and teach the young kids.

Basically, they are using Flacco to take the lumps from the worst/toughest part of the schedule, which fortunately came in the first 6 weeks of the season rather than the last 6 weeks. They don't want the kids to get shell shocked and destroyed before they get started. (Note: Not saying I agree)
