It also helps to paint some small rocks red and spread them around the plants before they start to produce. The birds get used to red rocks being around and won't bother the fruit as much when it does come in.

That's not something that i have ever thought about when going to a coffee shop. Personally I always thought it was a dick move to take up an entire table for hours at a time in a busy shop.
