To be clear, lawfully carrying a firearm is not grounds for being killed.

This stupidity may be why Essayli is a "First Asst US Attorney" (a made up title) and not an actual US Attorney.

ICE must be stopped. Kristi Noem, who created this culture of complete criminal lawlessness, must step down or be impeached, and she must face criminal investigation.

What this video clearly shows is ICE agents brutally assaulting innocent bystanders (including with teargas) before they murder one of them at point blank. This was not self-defense. It was an execution.

1) This is illegal. Only Congress can change the name of a department.

2) This is wasteful. This money could be used to feed children or lower healthcare costs.

2025 felt like the longest year ever, but amidst all the chaos and lawlessness, one thing remained constant. Trump and his Republican allies did NOTHING to lower the soaring costs faced by working Americans. At this point, it’s clear the only pocketbooks they care about are those of billionaires.

15 years ago, Gabby Giffords was shot while hosting a community event in Arizona. Since then, she has dedicated her life to protecting others and ending gun violence. Her courage inspires us every day to keep fighting to end the scourge of gun violence in this country.

January 6, 2021 was an attempted coup meant to prevent the peaceable transition of power in our democracy.

This is political retribution, plain and simple. Pete Hegseth is trampling our Constitution to go after Trump’s critics. It’s wrong, it’s illegal, and Hegseth must be held liable.
