As a Notre Dame fan base, we do not discuss enough Bryce Young running into Georgia’s kicker twice in a row.

That’s a lot of words to say “stop asking me about Epstein.”

We need to be better about how we talk about this because when we say genetic, and parents don’t have it, they can assume it’s an external cause and that’s where conspiracies and pseudoscience wiggle there way in to discussion.

Genes that cause autism can be mutated, which can happen in the womb before a woman can get a positive pregnancy test.

Or they can be inherited. In either case, a parent may show no symptoms due to recessive genes or other factors.

I will say it until I’m blue in the face — Autism is genetic but that does not mean that an autistic person MUST have a parent who is also neurodivergent.

HHS said they would release those disclosures before their meeting in late June. But here we are in mid-July with no transparency.
