The Austin NewsGuild are the workers of the Austin American-American Statesman in Texas. Formed in 2021, they are currently bargaining their second contract with new paper owner Hearst.

One of the original inspirations for this account, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 606 was founded over 75 years ago and are over 1500 workers in construction and utilities in Central Florida. They are an affiliate of @ibewinternational.bsky.social.

Say hello to Unionion, the Union Onion! They are the mascot of the Japanese Trade Union Confederation (RENGO). Founded in 1989 and number 7 million, it is the largest trade union federation in Japan.

The Chesapeake NewsGuild are journalists and other workers at the Capital Gazette and other suburban Baltimore newspapers in Maryland. They are workers at the same company as The Baltimore Sun (represented by the @baltsunguild.bsky.social) and part of the Washington-Baltimore NewsGuild (@wbng.org)
