There’s always premiums on buying over the scrap value but as an example, silver is 35% over, gold is only 4%.

Copper is basically 600%!

The problem at the moment is it’s not viable to buy copper bars. The price is sitting at £7.60 for a kilo of scrap cable, a kilo billion bar is £45.

Not saying it’s right to nick it but it’s just not worth buying.

What I’m really getting at is people harping on about having to use Super in any old white goods shitbox. Yeah, maybe use it in something exotic (or something older) but a 1.4 Corsa is not that.
