It will be interesting to see what stance, if any, the UK govt takes to the 80+ British citizens who have voluntarily served in the IDF over the past two years.

My day was spent with Ian McEwan's new novel What We Can Know. McEwan has written novels that I adore (The Child in Time) and novels I intensely dislike (Atonement). About halfway through the new book I thought it might be his best work, by the end not sure but it is very good. More thought needed.
