People are misunderstanding the title.

The question really being posed is how to convince the outdoor pigs to pay half a crown for such a mediocre pamphlet!

Probably would have put up taxes to fill the gap because they hadnโ€™t made stupid pledges on tax during the election campaign

When Labour, meaning the Labour government, sends its people โ€ฆ Theyโ€™re sending people that have lots of problems, and theyโ€™re bringing those problems to us. Theyโ€™re bringing xenophobia. Theyโ€™re bringing transphobia. Theyโ€™re landlords. And some, I assume, are good people.

It's hard not to conclude that the aim here is to just exclude trans people from society altogether.

I hear that basically every day on here.

That is just not true.

That might be your belief but thereโ€™s no actual evidence to support it. By your own admission, there is no precedent.

The Lib Dems do want to join the EU. It is in the manifesto but sure whatever you keep going with your tragic nationalism.

Out of curiosity, when was the Edwardian era?

The Lib Demโ€™s want to rejoin the single market. Labour donโ€™t. Tell it to Labour.

Oh I see youโ€™re a Labour supporter trying to cope with how awful your preferred government is by lying about other parties.

Queensbury Tunnel cycleway plan too costly, say government Transport minister Lilian Greenwood says Queensbury Tunnel will be made

It would cost around ยฃ16m and generate ยฃ3 in social, economic and tourism benefits for every ยฃ1 spent on it.

But somehow it is too expensive?!

Meanwhile ยฃbillions will be spent on low value road schemes.

I am familiar with the downsides - they are why we didn't want to leave the EU in the first place. This is something the government could be doing right now to mitigate the damage. No trade deal it has or could sign would be as good as better access to the EU.

Manifesto is literally just a statement of what we want to do.

Because heโ€™s talking about what the Labour government could and should do right now.

Single market is already in the Lib Dem manifesto with a goal to rejoin.

What would make it easier would be be proper regulation. Mandatory notifications about unreliability and inaccuracy. Mandatory markers for AI content. Enforcement of copyright law on these companies in the first place.

My first interaction was when he turned up to my 2019 hustings instead of the green candidate and spent the whole evening attacking the Lib Dems instead of well doing anything useful. It made little sense to me at the time until I learned his history

This is thought provoking.

I totally agree that she should consider the wider implications of her actions because we should all be doing that any way.

Iโ€™m struggling to escape my gut feeling that this is a woman being singled out for having sex though. I feel like even posting is me participating

This is a key table to understanding public opinion on migration. *When confronted with the real trade offs* people go for protecting the NHS and the economy over reducing migration.

The problem as per the rest of the thread is many don't believe those trade offs exist.
