Hey Midwest FaB fam, please help get the word out about some upcoming events in Michigan!

On August 23rd, we have a super armory 1k hosted by Nerd Rage Games.

In October at the Michigan Grand Tournament Convention, a Scalable 1k on the 4th and PQ Yokohama on the 5th. Links below!

My assumption is that it is destroyed. Paying the cost doesn’t increase the number of attacks. It’s one attack that has two targets. Since spectra destroys it, it destroys that attack regardless of how many targets it had.

Respectfully, this just isn’t the case. The fab competitive scene will play the best deck regardless of what they like, because whatever is the best deck IS what they like.

Alternate proposal to lowering points: stop juicing one hero to the moon (stars?) when the rest of the hero’s in the set are clearly in the waiting for expansion slot room.

Ban levels of enlightenment. Tone down the overall power level of MST heroes a bit without hurting their overall game plans.

Probably not though. If anything maybe buff MST somehow so they LL even faster.

What he actually needs is for enigma to not exist.

I’m not trying to be argumentative, but the point is that the wizard class really didn’t get anything creative or new. Verdance, which is my favorite hero not close, is a felling bot with a combo kill. She’s not a wizard at all until the final turn of the game.

Again respectfully, you just described the baseline functionality of arcane damage. I don’t think that qualifies as class identity. Amp, which already existed pre Rosetta, doesn’t expand the wizards thematic play style in any way. It’s just a keyword that embodies something Kano was already doing.

I don’t think it sucked. It’s one of my favorite sets thematically, but I think unfortunately despite efforts tot he contrary, MST did overshadow it. I’m not holding my breath for the hunted either.

Can’t argue that wizards got the shaft though. All that waiting just to get zaps the set… Yeesh.

I’d be really interested to hear what that definition exactly is, respectfully. Surge is not a class identity.

Again, couldn’t agree more. It’d be great to not have 50-60% of the hero pool get lunch when they sit down across from an illusionist.

Fully agree, the design/aesthetic/vibe was amazing. The balancing was not.

Pretty sad seeing so much beautiful design and gameplay constantly overshadowed by mst. The whole set is absurd.
