I’ve said this before and I’ll probably say it again, but every hardcore IRL activist I know makes a very deliberate effort to interject joy into their lives and appreciate little things. I’ve only ever seen this dedication to misery in extremely online meme “activists”.

Last night was honestly too intense. I’m going to (try) to play it cool and do my best to move on… “Just add another thing to the ‘TSD pile lol” I tell myself, but it’s not working. As soon the distractions cease an overwhelming dread rushes over me. I’ll pull through, I’ll live with it. Eventually.

Oh, and what was my great crime that led to me losing my home in the first place? COVID and terrible mental health. Lockdowns killed the careers of many massage therapists, mine included. Being a queer immigrant just made it that much worse. Anyways, I’m just happy to have my own lil slice of peace.

Of course I’m a little sad that about 10% of my most valuable stuff was looted. Streaming/music PC, Mac Pro Tower, Marantz stuff… It’s not even the physical stuff, it’s the pics and videos lost on my HDDs that hurt the most. I’m just hoping to find my missing ladle at this point LOL

My vocabulary is sadly inadequate to describe the deep joy and relief I’m experiencing from finally having our own place with my SO after years of personal instability: homelessness, short term sublets, unable to access the majority of my things, break in and theft… Housing is a human right, period.

It’s time for a rebranding, let’s label them the Milktoast Party!

So this is officially old news! I’m finally done fighting the state - and I won! What an incredible sense of relief, it has been a little over a week since it finally got resolved but I’m still processing the fact that it’s over and I can move on with my life.

The modern legal system is obfuscated and difficult to navigate by design, akin to how the Christian church used to gatekeep knowledge and power from the medieval commoners by exclusively using Latin in official correspondence and religious indoctrination.
