I'm feeling this quote today. I was wondering why I'd not had any orders through my Etsy shop in all of January and berating myself for not having a good enough range.

Turns out I forgot to turn off 'holiday mode' after Christmas, so no one has been able to see my shop for 22 DAYS!

Argh 😣

Fabulous night at Leeds Playhouse to see The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. I had two very tired children on the way home but it was worth it 😀

I’ve always collected badges - I have them from when I was as young as four, I think. During the pandemic I made this hanging display so I had something to do with them all. I love looking at them - they make me very happy 😀

The incredible ceiling at Leeds Grand Theatre, making all the ceilings in my house feel very sad and boring! We were there to watch an Opera North production of Kurt Weill’s Love Life, which I highly recommend - it was fabulous from start to finish 😀

Slime anarchy

The amount of slime-making in our house is getting a bit out of hand. I reckon at least 50% of containers in our kitchen hold some kind of slime product or ingredient! I love it but it’s also driving me a bit bonkers 🤪

We’re having a bit of a New Year clear-out of stuff: books, children’s toys, things we don’t use any more. Some things are harder to part with than others though, especially when you remember them from your own childhood ❤️

Final event of the festive season: The Rock n Roll Panto in Leeds at the glorious City Varieties Music Hall. We were literally on the back row in the gods, but it didn’t matter because it was so ace! 😀
