Had a lot of fun learning a ruler and compass construction for an Islamic design during a workshop hosted by Phil Webster. This took close to 4 hours. I still have to darken in the final design.

I make a point of coding without AI assistance every so often to try to keep my bones from gummyifying. The urge to use it is strong though. Do I really want to think through how to code a certain function or just let an LLM do it probably correctly?

My aunt's cat intersperses his requests for pets with the occasional hiss, just to throw me off.

It's a similar phenomenon to how con artists are able to slip past the defenses of grieving people.

We did not base any decisions on its analysis, but I find it very eye opening how it got past my normally critical stance.

I use copilot to help me rapidly prototype code for my job. Also mess around with ChatGPT a bit. It's very useful in domains of knowledge where I have a well developed bullshit detector, but as a cautionary tale, it recently had me believing my aunt's medical condition was a lot better than it was.
