I think he’s in the 6-8-week weaning range. Hard to tell given that feral kittens can look small for their age. For context, I have four former street kittens (3 abandoned by humans, one orphaned). But my feral kitten weaning knowledge is limited to what I can learn from the internet

Feral cat experts: Last week I saw and fed but failed to trap an ~8-week-old kitten near our house. This week, his presumed mom is stalking around calling for him. This is standard weaning, where the kitten and mom are in contact but aren’t always together, right? I shouldn’t assume the worst?
