There are members of his congregation that have participated in direct violence and wreaked havoc in Portland. He has advocated for the rapture to resolve paranoid conspiracy theories about Soros-funded jihadists in Portland. He claims lgbtq is pedophilia. He exploits false narratives about Portland

According to a 2025 analysis by online lender NetCredit of data from the MIT Living Wage Calculator, the minimum livable wage in Portland is at least $27.50 per hour. Portland's minimum wage is $16.30 as of August, 2025. That's only 60% of a minimum livable wage. Also, from 2020 to 2025, Oregon ranked dead last in drug addiction rehabilitation services. Since 2020, Oregon's death overdose rate has exploded, both in rural and urban areas. Maybe the answer to poverty and drug addiction is a higher minimum wage and more services to those in need. I'm not a doctor or a scientist but it doesn't a PhD to reasonably conclude that the leading cause of drug addiction, poverty and homelessness in Portland is not a lack of contemporary Christian country music concerts. While we appreciate the sincerity, thoughts and prayers of the artists involved, we strongly doubt the sincerity of the organizer. It seems much more likely that this event is only a ruse to elevate his church's status and membership for personal gain.

FAR-RIGHT CHRISTIAN EXTREMISTS IN PORTLAND AUGUST 2 & 3 A large conservative Christian gospel event, featuring country music artists popular within the right-wing Christian community, is being organized by a local extremist church known for its violent and hateful followers and sympathizers like Proud Boys, Patriot Prayer, right-wing militia members, and January 6th rioters. They are billing it as a "PDX crusade" and their stated objective is to use Portland to transform the Pacific Northwest into a stronghold of Christianity. Their promotion for this event has been explicitly anti-Portland and anti-liberal, even quoting Trump's disdain for Portland. Leftist spaces and the area around Moda Center should be aware that violent agitators may be in their neighborhood over the weekend. WE PROTECT US.

A local extremist church is organizing a significant conservative Christian gospel event featuring contemporary country music artists appealing to the right-wing Christian community. While mainstream conservative Christians and families will attend for the free show, participants from fringe groups like the Proud Boys, Patriot Prayer, right-wing militias, and January 6th rioters are also expected due to the organizer's membership, extremist rhetoric and doctrine. Promoted as a "PDX Crusade," the organizers aim to establish Portland as a stronghold for Christianity in the PNW. Their promotional material has explicitly targeted Portland and its reputation as a liberal sanctuary, even quoting President Trump and Joe Rogan, and features primarily footage of riots and poverty, blaming such conditions on a lack of Christian faith in our local communities. The pastor also leans heavily on debunked antisemitic conspiracy theories to boost his message, exploiting popular right-wing grievances and false narratives about Portland as a means to lure unwitting mainstream Christians to his extremist church for his own personal gain. Let's be clear: this event is nothing short of a con to help fulfill his megachurch ambitions. Revealing his church's members, lineage and doctrine has been especially concerning.
