How does a planter that fails to keep an SUV from going around it, prevent the police SUV from going around it? If the planter wasn't there, would the police be more likely to run-down and run-over people who are running away?

When life gives you an easy out to cut ties to an officer who repeatedly abuses his power and consistently uses excessive force, you should take it. Why does Chief Day keep begging City Council to rehire these assholes?

This morning, in fact, I was riding in the middle of my lane on a 2-way residential street going 25mph in a 25mph speed limit zone when an SUV decided to pass me but had to gun it and then swerved in front of me to avoid a head-on collision with another car. Yikes.

Passive traffic-calming devices do something the police with their $300 million budget can never do and won't do and shouldn't be tasked with doing - making the road safer by PREVENTING vehicle collisions.

I've been riding my bike to work all summer. Not once have I felt endangered by a drug dealer but I have almost been run off the road by at least three vehicles who dangerously passed me and then swerved over into my lane to avoid colliding into oncoming traffic. Traffic-calming barriers save lives.

A prosecutor would have to bring criminal charges. Penske might be able to file civil charges from breach of contract when ICE intentionally violates laws, and likely the rental contract, by putting officers in the back.

The right-wing Christian "End Times" conspiracy theorist, Steve the Tour Guide, is all giddy about his theory that for Jesus to return, Israel must first be destroyed and there must be another genocide of the Jews. These Christian Zionists love Israel but only to enact their death cult fantasies.

Steven Ben-Yishai (Steve the Tour Guide) claims "the Portland area has come under the dominion of this crazy leftist cabal and I think it's like the capitol of Antifa and Transtifa."

He makes Portland sound pretty cool.

I think Penske Trucks and other box truck rental companies should press charges against anyone who uses the back of their vehicles to transport people and DAs should press criminal charges for knowingly and recklessly endangering the lives of the passengers.

A right-wing Christian take-over would mean persecution and oppression of you and limit your freedom to live out your faith. If you don't care about your neighbors who aren't Christians, at least care about your own self-interests.

I notice these right-wing MAGA Christians aren't offering any other solution to help the kids whose immigrant parents go missing. It's almost like they hope ICE would separate the kids from their families and put the kids in concentration camps. Heartless.

They definitely have a hierarchy of value of children. White Christian cishet children - highest value. They don't care about Brown immigrant children or the children who were trafficked by Trump and Epstein. They don't care about trans or queer children or care about Muslim or atheist children.

Even being 4 blocks from the police station doesn't prevent vehicle-related injuries and deaths.
