We need scientists more than ever in light of current developments. I hope all of us advocate strongly for what we do and why to friends, family, and representatives in our local and federal governments.

And finally, and today especially, we sincerely thank NIH for funding. I am incredibly proud of my lab for tackling an important biological question and tough set of experiments with rigor and the highest standards. Hardworking talented people are our greatest asset to drive science forward.
