In Alaska, Putin will be exposed to an arrest warrant by the Int. Criminal Court for a long, grisly list of war crimes. I'd think any Alaska cop could enforce it.

They'd be a hero to the world, and a bit of justice too for the historical slaughters by Tzarist Russia of Native Alaskans.

Dresden was horrific, Vonnegut will tell you that- but the situations were vastly different. Dresden was part of the massive Nazi military system grinding up human beings. The whole Allied bombing campaign liberated Europe from Nazi control and ended the Holocaust. Comparing them is sociopathic.

Any Alaska cop, trooper, or MP that arrests Putin on sight would be serving the intent of the International Criminal Court and its outstanding warrant for his arrest, for war crimes. This cop would be a hero to the world.

Remember to thank Alaska's entire congressional delegation for this ongoing disaster to Alaskas children. Remember that Begich, Sullivan and Murkowski all chose this, big oil, big money, over the people of Alaska.

Sadness is natural, but despair is a powerful tool of the enemies of justice.

Do not spend a second convincing people working for good things that their work is hopeless. That's not cutesy nihilism, that is enforcing despair.

Do not volunteer to do the fascists' work.

I"ll say professionally that this is unusually good. I can't emphasize enough that the mood and feeling of the sea is paramount in subjects like this. To be outstanding, the water must feel wet, the air cold, you must paint sounds and senses far beyond straightforward visual fidelity.

Sens. #Murkowski & #DanSullivan should know that the political organization they support, like any fascist party, will target their own supporters who dissent or digress. The potato starch-flavored concern they'll express on a Senator's arrest will not protect them.

Every protest I’ve attended in SC has been peaceful. Cops were kind and removed disrupters. This rhetoric out of DC is meant to instill fear and keep people away. Show up. Know your rights. Save democracy.

Tom Begich's ADN column says nephew has now surrendered to a path of darkness and authoritarianism that will injure Alaskans and degrade the United States. Rep. Nick Begich III wants fascism, as long as he's in on it; he's now spit on his grandfather's celebrated legacy of public service.

Under DOJ leadership now with Bondi and Patel, expect this ugly and willfully ignorant attitude to be directed against Native Alaskans again.
