Steam and itch.io have removed thousands of video games in recent weeks deemed to be "adult content" in order to comply with strict rules from payment processors like Mastercard.

These policies censor artists engaged in lawful speech. Mastercard shouldn't be the gatekeepers of our digital freedom.

visa and mastercard deciding what games are allowed to be sold is an apocalyptic level threat to the games industry. phone calls are the highest impact way to help.

this is an all hands on deck situation. the enemy got results with 1000 phone calls.

You know, I feel the same but I've come to realize I pretty much just value novelty above all. Not in a gimmicky way but in the sense of being taken on an ride in which I'm not able to always predict what's ahead. The ride still needs to be good, mind you, but I value new solutions to old problems.
