The positive reaction to the music in the Razing Core demo is a great example that most people (outside the scene perhaps) just want to hear good music.

Badcomputer is back with another rock-solid Master System release that harkens back to the simple yet addictive Sega Card games of old. It's also as affordable as it is engaging, so there's no reason to not get it and platform like it's 1986.

This includes me by the way, which is why I rarely post about anything but my own game dev and pixel art.

The problem with information from social media and youtube is you can absorb it easily but never think about it critically. Eventually you get confronted with an opposite opinion and have no idea how to counter it, and I think that's why they get angry.

It's almost impossible to watch someone play an SMS game without them talking about NES.

Even the Master System subreddit description says "though it never overtook the NES". I'll let you guess whether the NES subreddit description mentions any other console.
