Yes! For folks who don't know The Expanse takes places in the awkward "teenage" phase of space travel between now and Star Trek. The show did an excellent job recreating the excellent books. The casting was spot-on, the screenwriting was exceptionally well-done in terms of truthfulness to the story.

Writers like you have been coming up with universe-acceptable ways to bring Ben back for 6 years now, and apparently Dave Felloni (who is in charge of the canon) said whatever the Soderbergh/Driver group came up with made sense to him. Iger doesn't trust Lucasfilm. Sad.

The book scared the heck out of me because everything except the monster-rekated stuff is based on reality. Highly recommend Dan Simmons' Hyperion Cantos series as well if you like scifi-horror.
